What is an iPhone Remote?
The iPhone and iPod touch or iPod for that matter is a personal device. As for the iPhone it is more about personal convenience. It goes with You, wherever you go and helps you be more efficient; to be in control where-ever you go, to do the things you need to do when you need to, where ever you are……
Can an iPhone remote replace all of your existing remotes? Yes. Will it? No. Not unless of course, everyone existing in that environment also has an iPhone or iPod Touch (and soon to be iPad). Not a bad idea as far as Apple is concerned.
What it will do is allow you to control what you want, when you want, where you want. The ultimate in convenience: make a call, send an email, check your stocks, change the TV channel!
